Comments | yah - I was suspicious of frozen ice so I got there early, of course. Groomers were just finishing up - YAY!!! They did a good job of chopping up all that ice from the RAIN event mid-week. Lower mountain had some very obvious ice sheets visible from the lift and it was a noisy first ride down. From there, I went to the tram and did a summit run down Tramway which was really good initially. Upper Cannon, not usually my favorite, was amazing - lots of shaved off ice from the groomer and it was somewhat powdery - almost no ice. Very fun!!!! Stayed a total of about 2 hours before moving my car to the Tram lot to hike to Eagle Cliff across the street. After that, we came back to the car to ride the tram up for LAST CALL at 3pm for yummy potent bloody marys at the highest bar in the state. Just barely made the last tram down. An EXCELLENT day!!!! |
