Comments | Love this ski area, but the conditions were bad today after the refreeze. The cat operator was just driving around with the mat down, with the tiller and blade in the air. As a result, there was no corduroy and only golf balls and divots from the tracks. Some rocks appearing on Allagash. Pretty much everything on the main mountain was open, but the side country trails were closed. Kennebago should have been closed (large ice bulge and some rocks).
Looks like the T Bar is no longer operational.
Nice blue skies and never a wait for the lift. In better conditions, this place is awesome, especially when other areas are busy. It skis big, the terrain is great, and of course it's one of the largest tree skiing areas in New England. |
