Comments | Annual community ski event at Proctor Academy. At night, there are two surface lifts and 3 trails open. All had wall to wall coverage. In front of the lodge, there is a handle tow that serves an upper novice slope. The handle tow is also used to cross over and drop into the T-Bar complex. The T-Bar (around 400 feet vertical) serves two trails at night - Burden and Blackwater. There is also a natural snow trail without lights on the other side of the T-Bar (Doc's). Both Burden and Blackwater were groomed just before the night session started and thus had great conditions. Upper intermediate in pitch and fun. I also learned that the ski area is open to the public (by chance, basically when the school is using it for training) for $15 a day. |
