Comments | I made the hour-long drive to McIntyre for a few hours of skiing using my Freedom Pass (there should be an option for that on this website). Single digits felt balmy after the extreme cold yesterday. A breeze kept things interesting and it snowed for a few hours as well. One chair was open and there was one run down which branched into three near the base. They were blowing snow on the rest of the terrain and it looks like they will soon be 100% open. Despite the cold, the hill was relatively busy and there was an occasional wait to get on the lift. The top ticket price at McIntyre is $38, so it's a great affordable resource for the Manchester area and it makes me wonder how Gateway will get away with charging $35 when McIntyre is nearby and offers far more. |
