Comments | It was a terrific afternoon even though it was 40 degrees and wet packed powder. For the Zephyr area, I went on Avalon for one run. While I was on Avalon there was a man that was in the middle of the trail and needed assistance with skiing. I helped him all the way down to the base area. This area being flat and having wet snow made beginners have a challenging time making turns and stopping. I also took the Range View trail and it was in good shape because of the snow depth that has been there since the beginning of November. Mount Rosebrook.... Lower mountain was ok. The Bigger Ben to Big Ben trail was alright but since the Bretton's Wood trail was being utilized for ski racing again today it was getting skied off and there were patches of ice. Later on in the afternoon I elected to stay on the upper part of Mount Rosebrook and took laps on Zeland to Deception Bowl which opened on Tuesday the 19th. This trail was the best out of all the trails I skied today. I love the Deception Bowl because it is a good cruiser from top to bottom! The Sawyer Swoop trail was open and was also an excellent choice. Great day again at the Woods! | |
