Run of the Day | Cascade to Sawyer's Swoop. At the top of S. Swoop when they lowered the rope, so got 1st run on it. |

Comments | 14 trails off three chairs - Bethlehem, Zephyr and Rosebrook. Conditions through midday were excellent - thinnish cover as you'd expect but well-groomed and the few bare spots were easily avoided. Morning temps in low 40s softened up the machine-groomed iciness just enough. Hardly anybody there and at $25, this was probably my ski bargain of this Century. That price did not require advance purchase but you have to be a certain type of person. |
