Comments | Conditions were better early in the day than later on. Got some natural snow flurries not forecasted, but the wind revealed a decent amount of ice on trails on upper Baker mountain. The easy trails were in good shape, and crowded, for a better portion of the day. T2 was better in most places than some of the intermediate trails that were open. Ecstasy was a minefield of piles of loose granular, which required a shift in technique to push through, otherwise being fine at the Sunday Punch trail merge. Got fed up with the ice in the afternoon and finished out the day on the lower part of the mountain once the football fans cleared out.
Still a lot of visible prep going on, but over all not bad for November skiing. |
