Comments | First day on the slopes for the 17/18 season spending a couple hours getting my legs back under me! Stuck to easier and intermediate terrain, avoiding any diamonds.
Firm, groomed conditions starting out, with some softer conditions up at the summit. Black Bear was in good condition, the top portion especially. Lower trails were definitely on the firm side in most places. Snow guns were working on different trails, a few looking like they could be able to be added this weekend with proper set up. Some congestion around junctions, especially after the Thanksgiving race finished.
American Express, Gondola and URSA lifts were running without much wait time. Staff was friendly, and a few had excellent personalities! |
