Comments CommentsAbsolutely amazing powder day on Ragged's last weekend!!!!! At LEAST a foot of snow - total jackpot here! Mid-morning when I got there I had to park in Lot 3 - place was pretty full, but, singles line had no waiting. Spear lift was ride-on!!!! Found some new entrances to the glades - always looking for better entrances with less walking with the snowboard. Steep glades weren't scraped off - until later in the day. Karen's Dream had enough pow to cover the rocks!!!! After about 4 hours my legs were FRIED so I switched to my splitboard and did only 1 lap - the top was around 20-degrees with freezing precip which made changing the splitboard over a pain in the A$$ - ski patrol invited me to use the front porch of the cabin for ripping the skins off the splitboard but I was OK.

Some of the flats such as Mikey's Run were open and they usually aren't - unfortunately the water bars were difficult to get over on the flats so I had to walk the last part of this as did others. Big Rock and Cabin Fever had nice fresh pow but the flats are not that much fun on a snowboard.

SUPER day!!!! :)
