Comments | Everything was open except Roper's Road. Surfaces remain very good overall, excepting some icy patches and thin cover on Upper Smith Walton and Balance Rock. I was surprised how few people were there, despite a well-attended race. There were as many last Monday, which was not a lot. The forecasted light rain may have deterred, and in fact it arrived minutes after I finished, around 2 pm.
The Bullock Lodge Cider House man arrives at 5 am every day, regardless of weather, traveling by foot from the Lodge. He is a Master of Donutry, and the Apple Turnovers look good too. |
