Comments | Absolutely AMAZING day at Cannon. Spent the first 1.5 hours skinning up to summit - summit was socked in. Descended and met my friend for more runs. Parking was a bleep show due to Bodefest, and someone parked BEHIND my car in the lot so I couldn't get out, SO, we went to Mittersill and spent many hours there - fun powder and not very tracked!!!! Then we headed to summit which was still socked in, so, we worked the car spot thing and headed for the Tuckerbrook Trail. YUGE mistake to climb to top of Tuckerbrook Ski Trail from top of Mittersill lift - LONG walk for my friend in her tiny ski boots (I was fine in big comfy snowboard boots) - we should have come over the Saddle. Regardless,,,,, the descent via Tuckerbrook was the BEST I have ever had on that trail - still some untracked fresh POW even at the end of the day :) Thanks Amy for a fun day!!!! |
