Glades | I don't think they have official glades. A few small unofficial ones, which had snow for the first time since the big thaw. |
Moguls | Two strips of them, on the left side of Upper Tenth and on the right side of Frannie's Folly. I heard they were icy in the morning but softened up in the Spring sunshine. |
Terrain Park(s) | Hitchcock was open with an array of features. It costs $5 extra. |
Run of the Day | Upper and Lower Smith-Walton. |
Food and Beverage | I had the Black Diamond's Snowplow sandwich - chicken salad with bacon and Swiss in a wrap, which is grilled liked a Cuban. Very tasty, served with a pile of their crisp seasoned fries. $12 and worth it. My wife likes their Steak and Cheese Flatbread, with Horseradish Sauce you can have on the side. |

Comments | It was great so see white instead of brown off the Trails, and for everything to be open, even some Trails shown as closed on the Snow Report, such as the Mass. Pike, which facilitates travel between the two high-speed chairs. I skied everything except the Beginner trails and Roper's Road - a flattish tote road that bores me, although it has a decent view outlook. Conditions were excellent packed powder in the morning on nearly all Trails (Upper Balance Rock, though, had thin cover) but there is little shade on most Trails and by 2 pm the warm Spring sunshine created lots of mashed potatoes that tire legs rapidly. |
