Session | Afternoon | |
Ticket Type | Retail Price
Lift Lines | 0 minutes | |
Trail Conditions | 90% open; Spring Snow, Wet Powder
Glades | Open, but no base underneath and the sun is zapping the new powder very quickly, so very few tracks.
Moguls | None | |
Terrain Park(s) | ||
Run of the Day | Stagecoach to T-Bar Slope
Food and Beverage | Did not partake, as there is no F&B at the lift (the ticket booth is adjacent to the bottom of the lift), but did find there's a full ski lodge down on the road (a short walk from the lift) with a full cafeteria, restrooms, etc.
Comments | I had been wanting to return to Quechee, so with such nice weather today, I decided to take advantage of the $20 2 to 4 PM ticket. Everything except Clean Break was open, and of the open terrain, everything except Maple Trail had seen some grooming. The ski area bakes in the sunlight, so the powder was already turning into spring snow this afternoon. Bare spots were starting to poke up on the lift line and Mel's. Lots of untracked snow near the T-Bar slope, as well as much of the Face, and the Maple Trail. Fun intermediate terrain with the upper half being trails and the lower half being basically a wide open bowl. I had only intended to ski a few runs, but ended up staying for a dozen because the weather was so nice and the terrain and views excellent.
