Comments | $17 lift tix in honor of St. Pat, near-perfect snow, a sunny day and two races yielded a crowd bigger than most weekends. I got there early and avoided lift lines except a few shortish ones in the Singles Line for the Flying Bear Quad, which was the most popular. The Summit Triple, molasses slow to begin with, was having stop-start issues, so I took it just once. The bluebird panorama from the Summit Tower was majestic. The Yankee Clipper Quad was the one to take today. Despite all the snow, Humphrey's Ledge and Wilfred's Gawn had ledges exposed by high winds and were closed (although the latter showed Open on the Report). A great bargain! |
