Comments CommentsThe Vortex Powder Express opened at 8:30! First runs down Twister and FIS were very good, powder had a thin wind packed topping. This didn't cause any issues but was not quite as fluffy as last night. Next I went down Tornado and I was Wowed by the fluffy-ist snow--Tornado and Cyclone were more protected from the wind. I must have had 4 runs in before others joined me here. Pats Peak leaves all the blacks ungroomed! I skied 10 runs right in a row and then zipped back to work. (now night skiing is on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays only and their last day is going to be Sunday March 26th---April 1st is the big snowmobile hill climb and show). lots of first tracks whoohoo
