Food and Beverage | The Black Diamond lunch special was a Buffalo Chicken Wrap, with blue cheese crumbles and a pile of crisp fries. Well worth $8. My wife loves their veggie flatbread pizza, which is drizzled with balsamic vinegar. The Cider House's cider doughnuts are wonderful and that must be the most fragrant cabin in Massachusetts. |

Comments | We were amazed how good conditions were, even though their snow is 100% man-made. Several trails had "thin cover" signs but those really weren't necessary - very few thin spots were to be found on the trails they had open and the machine-groomed surfaces held up beautifully at least until 2:30, when we stopped. No lift lines so you could do a lot of runs in a short time. Kudos to Team Wachusett for their snow-making and grooming. Just when we thought skiing might be done, we have one of our best days.
If you reload your EZ Pass the night before on their website, you save money and avoid a visit to the ticket desk. |
