Comments CommentsTricky day due to thick fog, but nice to still have most of the peaks open. A mixture of spring snow and some sticky powder from yesterday's storm.

Off Bear, Outer Limits is still in good shape. Devil's Fiddle had a 20 foot section that required walking, but otherwise was still deep on the steeps (nice to see snowmaking on this; I think this was my first time skiing it). Lower Wildfire and Skyeburst are looking very tired with dirt poking through.

Off Needle's Eye, Great Eastern, Cruise Control, and Needle's Eye were all nice. Vertigo Headwall had one section with some rocks poking through, but was otherwise in good shape with top to bottom bumps.

Last day ever of the Superstar Quad (didn't wait in the long line for the tee shirt). Bittersweet and Superstar both had some thin spots on the lower headwalls.

Snowshed closed for the season and the main slope is looking thin.

Ram's Head was very sticky in the afternoon, so I didn't stick around.

Snowdon has lots of brown snow on the lower third of the mountain and around the six pack. There is very little snow around the base of the triple, so I don't know how they plan to make this a spring option. Also didn't notice a tremendous amount of snow leading from Snowdon to Great Northern.

Canyon complex had good snowpack on Downdraft, Double Dipper (didn't ski due to the fog, judging off what I could see from the lift), and Lower East Fall. Large whale just uphill of the Canyon Quad base terminal. Decent snowpack on the Cascade runout (Cascade itself was looking thin on the steep).

Decent sized crowd, but never any lines to contend with.
