Comments | Only had a little over a couple of hours, but was able to hit almost everything thanks to no lift lines. Green Peak Triple, 6 Pack, and High Country T-Bar running (heard a rumor that High Country closes after this weekend). High Country is still in good shape with wall to wall coverage and only a few random thin spots. Sunnyside still has decent coverage considering the rain and warm weather in recent weeks. Upper Oblivion is showing a little strain and Ciao has a few narrowing spots (Gema was open for adventure skiing, but only really has snow in the shadow of the treeline), but True Grit and Lower Bobby's were still essentially wall to wall, top to bottom (some thin spots to look out for). On the main mountain, Psyched and the Chute are just about toast, and Utter Abandon is narrow up high. Upper Sel's to World Cup was closed most of the day for a FIS race, but opened thereafter (some boilerplate as expected). Tippy and Tyler were nice. Did not venture onto Tangent et al, but they were opened/ungroomed. Boneyard closed I believe. Lower main mountain was thicker spring snow. Green Peak blues were nice. Clean Shaven had some boilerplate and granular, but wasn't too bad. Wayne Wong was a sheet of ice, but fortunately there was still some wet powder left from earlier in the week to turn on. Beautiful spring day with blue skies and temperatures in the 40s. |
