Comments | Warm, spring afternoon with snow melting fast in places. Upper Wizard had a few bare spots, but was otherwise okay. Talisman was loose granular on boilerplate on the steep, then spring snow thereafter. A few thin spots, but otherwise decent coverage, and the runout is hanging on (one thin spot near the base terminal of the lift). Lower Wizard was adventure skiing with some narrow spots. On the east side, it was initially just Upper Magic Carpet (seems like the base under the Red Chair isn't too deep), but then a few options thereafter. Trick was pretty good, as was Lower Magic Carpet. A little ice at the top of Medium. Adventure skiing on Up Your Sleeve and Vertigo, but wide enough to get down without too much fancy footwork (thin at the end, crossing under the Green Chair). Showoff was still holding on okay. Carumba to Lower Redline melting out, but still skiable. Hocus Pocus was getting thin and may not have much left at this point. Next weekend still seems like a possibility, albeit probably with less terrain. Quad was all that was running, but never more than a few chair wait. Nice most sunny skies early afternoon with temperatures possibly touching 60. |
