Comments CommentsWith the rollercoaster weather the first week of March, I XC at Blueberry Lake XC Center on Sunday. It was great considering. There isn't a place to post XC conditions, so putting my plug in for Blueberry Lake XC Center. Stop by next time you're in the Mad River Valley!
OK Monday Bolton Valley Powder Day! Forecast said maybe 2-4" snow Sunday night, but on the mountain they got at least 6"-8" and even by close of the day there was still fresh powder to be found in the woods. I say 90% open because Timberline was not open, but all the terrain in the main mountain was open and it was fantastic. Even places that were technically skiied off, giant mogul trails like Alta Vista Glade were nice because of the warm temps. Clouds gave way to sunny skies by 1pm and the views were awesome, not to mention that there wasn't anyone there, so all 3 lifts, Wilderness, Vista and Snowflake were ski on. Even got last chair ahead of ski patrol at 4:05. The woods off Wilderness were excellent! Really everything was great! Great Day!
