Comments | 27 of 27 trails, 8 of 8 lifts, machined groomed and packed powder was the report. I'd call it all machined groomed. Only a few small icy spots showing thru mainly up on steeper trails. Mostly sunny, 17-20°, wind steady at 5-10 mph. Arrived at 8:15 and parked at line 9.
Had a problem with the RFID card and had to go in for a new one. It was not too crowded in the AM and it was pretty much ski on to most lifts or a two or 3 group wait. After lunch the Monadnock was a different story with the queue full on one side and half full on the other due mainly to the number of ski school groups going up and poor line management. One class went up twice before we got on. The Polar remained a 2-3 group or like 5 singles wait. But it was not crowded on the slopes. They appeared to have a very good base after last weeks storm even with the rain after. On the upper mtn ice glittered on the trees. Off piste the surface had a glare ice look and it was solid 1"+ crust. I bet you could ride a bike on it or ice skate.
All in all an enjoyable day on the slopes
