Comments | Yesterday's two inches of new made for some outstanding packed powder conditions on the first few runs of the day today! Upper Rapid and Kennebec joined the trail count this weekend, although Kennebec was closed for racing all day today. All open trails skied quite well in the morning, but got rather scraped off as the day wore on. A large U14 race today also meant that the lodge was incredibly packed; I'm not sure why they still aren't utilizing the old lodge to accommodate more of the racers. I overheard many complaints from day skiers about the lodge situation. However, the lifts were still ski-on for much of the day and the weather was perfect. I ended the day with some xc skiing on Black's Nordic trails, which are in great shape right now! |
