Food and Beverage | Service and food was wonderful in the Sled Pub. Waitress delivers a bowl of popcorn to start. The Pub wasn't too busy at lunch time. French Onion soup and a Rueben sandwich were great. I was treated by my pal since I bought the Waffles! Oh the Unlawful Waffle food wagon is back and better than ever. A pretzel waffle cabin has moved to the summit next to the Ski Patrol Building, will be open soon. |

Comments | Oh my gosh what can you say when you make 17 runs with your friends to celebrate Kara's b-day. Light attendance today for the best conditions you could ever hope for!! Cyclone, Duster, East Wind, Breeze and Twister open from the summit today. Twister was a riot upper half were giant snowmaking whales that were chalky and east to turn on--too fun. One run we slid over from Twister to the Valley slope to check out the jump, features and rolling whales--more fun. Lunch in the Sled Pub was really good and we needed a good break. Even though we ate so much we did manage to go out and hit cyclone and twister one more time. Snow was just great, no ice or scratchy boiler plate to be found anywhere, just machine made packed pow pow hero snow. My three friends all used their Indy Passes for the first time this season, Pats Peak is charging indy pass redemption $5 for the RFID card. We all have a suitcase full of RFID cards. |
