Well this was the day of true variable conditions. It rained in the morning down in the valley and on the drive up. Turned to light showers as we headed out on the slopes. Tough wet skiing for a bit then it got colder and it changed over to snow. They picked up over an inch and it made for some buttery turns. The sun then broke out briefy as it warmed up some. Skiing over on Timberline the bottom runout had a little gripme grabme's but he upper slopes were a lot of fun. Heading back over to Vista there wasn't any grippy snow and there were a lot of nice cruisers. Another front rolled through and started to snow heavily as we ended the day. The ride home was accompanied by snow showers, sleet & rain or rain & sleet but it did not amount to anyting. |
