Comments | Wow, a foot of fresh powder. Lightest powder I've skied in recent memory. Everything was open. Groomers weren't being skied much, since folks were in the woods and on natural trails. Low angle natural trails were quite good, but the steeps were skied off pretty quickly because the powder was so light. Even after it was skied, the powder was still very light (virtually no moisture content). Only two nasty areas - Cobrass was very icy at the turn, and Upper Crossover was rock/ice prior to Bolton Outlaw. Deepest powder was on Upper Crossover (after that nasty spot) and on Upper Fanny Hill. Knee deep. Apparently the locals season passes were blacked out, so it wasn't as busy as I was expecting. The Vista Quad had a few minute waits at times, but the other chairs were ski-on or a few chair waits. | |
