Comments | Opening day at Campton Mountain. Took 10 runs this evening, alternating between Lazy Eights, Glide Path (lift line), and the crossovers. The lift ticket cost $13, but in hindsight I believe this to be in error ($15 for non members, still a really good deal). No lift lines, but full lodge. Wall to wall packed powder conditions with occasional grass sticking up, as well as a few rocks on Glide Path. Still, for December on natural snow, pretty good going. Warmer daytime temperatures might mess up Glide Path over the next few days, but if we get the forecasted snowstorm later in the week, it could set up some nice weekend skiing. |
