Comments | 28 of 28 trails, 9 lifts, machine groomed and loose granular, 28-30 F, light to no wind, mostly sunny. Coverage was very good. I did see some ice in a few spots.
Signs on the access road said SOLD OUT no parking without a reservation. We were there at 8:45 and the first lot was filled but tables were available in the lodge. The lift lines ebbed and filled but generally filled the queue or less. We managed to find a table inside for lunch too despite how busy it was in there. There was racing going on. NEC had FIS closed almost all day, they finally opened it at 2:45. They were all gone by 2 and people were skiing by the closed sign. They also had Tornado and Twister closed until 11:30. So you’re sold out and you close your 3 best trails??? I didn’t get why Twister was closed as I saw no one coming down it unless they were just using the upper section?
Despite being sold out we didn’t find it exceptionally crowded. At times lifts were ski on or a couple chair wait.
