Comments | Took advantage of the $35 lift tickets (sponsored by LL Bean). Boris (generally good, but a little bit of ice on the steep), Dudley (good), and Taylor's Treat to Lower Easy Rider were open on the main mountain with snowmaking base. Fearless Leader (thin on the steep), Snake, and Upper Easy Rider (a few thin spots) were groomed natural trails. Snow guns set up with some runtime on Frostbite Falls. Some golf balls, as to be expected after a thaw/freeze. I did not venture over to the Westside, as those are always the longest lines. Looks like the three greens were open and groomed. Initially only a few chair wait at opening, but the line eventually stretched all the way to Lower Easy Rider by 11 AM. T-Bar line had not been groomed yet, but heard that it may be ready to go next weekend. Since there's now a good base with a crust, a moderate snow storm could open just about everything. | |
