Comments | Gondola and North Peak Quad running this morning (chairs being loaded onto Seven Brothers line as well). North Peak Quad was limited to Sunset from the top, which skied fine. From there, one could either continue on Bear Claw Extension or take Haul Back to Lower Walking Boss (about half to two-thirds width). Apart from Lower Walking Boss, the other two entrances into the bottom of North Peak are Crosscut and Link. RFID gates added to the North Peak Quad this year. Gondola had three ways down - Flying Fox, Upper Picked Rock, and Bear Claw (with Bear Island Bypass option). Flying Fox and Bear Claw skied well, but Picked Rock had boilerplate on the pitch. Lower mountain choices were Seven Brothers and Lower Bear Claw. North Peak Quad was ski-on, while the gondola was generally only a 1-cabin wait. Snowmaking shut down around 10 AM. Looks like Brookway and Springboard could open this weekend, plus maybe Snubber and the novice carpet on the Governor's side. Noted that the Upper Flume guns are set up. | |
