Comments | I skied from Noon to 2:30. Partly sunny day with the surrounding mountains not breaking free of the clouds until around 2:15. It was pretty busy, no line but lift running with people on every chair. But it did start to empty out around 1 pm. People of all abilities and No abilities--didn't see any injuries but ski patrol gave at least three snowmobile rides to people that couldn't get down the slope that I saw. The natural snow that was there last week had melted away and Range View looked like a wide ribbon of snow. Lots of big soft piles of loose snow with firm snow between them. I enjoyed it. I was able to find nice openings and keep away from crowded skiing. They were making snow on Rosebrook summit and Crawford Blaze looks like it is almost ready to open. |
