Comments | Started the day off on groomers with hopes that the ungroomed terrain would soften up. Hopes and prayers were definitely answered! Started on the Zephyr chair and worked my way right to left (against my better schooling). Avalon, Coos, Granny's were groomed wonderfully, a good warm up. Range View was Range View. Archie's Alley ("ungroomed") was super fun, as was Fabyan's. Played a little on Ben/Swoop area, but quickly warmed up to the Rosebrook Chair. Bode's and Zealand were a blast! Water Tank and Perimeter were also good fun. Two Miles Home was open, and plenty of fun mid-morning and also late afternoon. Okay. Once the snow softened up, nothing was off limits. Deception Bowl took cake over Darby's. Diamond Ridge was silky. Nathan's Smile well...made ME smile. Lower section of McIntyre's Ride was sweeeet (why isn't the rest open?!). Agassiz...stellar. Glade West got two turns. Herb's also got two turns. Made it all the way over to Oscar Baron's. Jacob's and Rag's was great. Also discovered Crawford's Cutoff (?) cool! No Regrets...still kinda crunchy at 2:45 but no regrets. Once I realized things had softened up I went for it, and it was totally worth it! Closing day is Easter Sunday! $59 retail. | |
