Comments | 6 of 7 lifts, 27 of 27 trails. 31" in 72 hrs so suberb coverage all over. Little to no wind. Day started out cloudy around 35 which kept the snow from getting soft until the afternoon when the sun came out and warmed to 45 or so. Lower trails in the sun soften some in the afternoon but not bad at all. That was the only area I’d call spring snow. Mostly machined groom with some packed powder. Splendid ski day. We skied a double session. Some areas of ungroomed crud but those areas weren’t really steep enough to make proper turns. It was Polar partners free ski lesson & pass day. It was busy but not insanely crowded. I suspect a lot of people were over in the rental shop. There were many empty tables & cubbies at the main lodge when we arrived. We got a picnic table no problem for lunch. Lift lines in the morning weren't too bad. The 2 outer lifts were ski on at times. After lunch was a little busier of course but the queues were typically only 1/2 or 3/4 full and moved well. After 3pm it was ski on. |
