Comments | All trails were in fab shape from the very beginning of the day. Natural ungroomed trails were soft and chalky before the sun even got them. Only saw a couple ropes, strung with good cause.
Upper FIS had been groomed recently on skiers right (maybe Saturday?), and left ungroomed skiers left...what a treat that trail was. Doc Dempsey was so much fun! One rock snuck up on me at the bottom of a mogul, but managed to miss that bad boy just in time! People were skiing Lift Line under the Madonna lift, top steeps got scraped down pretty well by late afternoon. It was entertaining watching a few kids bomb down it, as well as some really beautiful skiers. Dan’s Ford also did well, very soft powder even in late afternoon. The list of awesome trails could go on and on, needless to say there wasn’t a bad trail on the mountain! Well...maybe the lower portion of Catwalk...but that’s it :) |
