Comments | What an excellent day!!! 10/10! Snow coverage is fantastic, as well as texture. Perfect 4” of new snow, with good snow underneath. Hardly any scratchy moments today. All natural trails were great!! Groomers were a good mix of conditions, with Coachman showing some serious hard pack, and Grey Ghost maintaining its packed powder conditions pretty well. Blue Devil and Silver Doctor were the best of the T-bar complex. Trails there had seen some traffic, but nothing wild. Parmachenee Bell had definitely been skied down to the last thaw/freeze cycle.
Heading toward the Kennebago served terrain, we found A LOT of fun. Governor took the cake here, needling our way through the rockier Headwall to find some of the most beautiful powdered terrain. Family Secret was a first for me today too, with soft fluffy bumps. I was happy to take advantage of the slim crowds and lack of audience on the lift to ski it! Skied Muleskinner based off recent ski reports, also for the first time today. Between the trail itself and the cross country style ski through the flats to get there, it was a good challenge. The trails between Tightline and Muleskinner were all equally fun; similar to Governors they had great snow once past the sometimes rockier entrances. Tightline was its grand self today. We managed to ski just about everything off the Kennebago chair.
We definitely checked a lot of boxes today. It was hard to leave, but our tired legs made it easier! |
