Comments Comments We started from Bear Peak Lodge a few minutes after 9 am. There are racks in the basement near the bathrooms for your boot bag. Good conditions and we had front room parking for arriving at 8:50. We were surprised that the fog/cloud line was so low, eeek, and for the first hour seeing wasn't easy. Not crowded today, ski right on any lift, even the gondola. We didn't go into the new K1 lodge, maybe someday. We had to be driving home by 12:45 today.
We skied Bear Mt. and Skye Peak, all good snow and finding corduroy still the first hour. Then we took runs off the Superstar Quad and then one trip up the gondola and a few off the Northridge Quad before returning to Bear Peak. Looked like everything was open but not sure you'd want to take your good skis down some of the natural trails. 14 good runs and we hated to leave.
While taking off our boots at the car, zowie the snow really started to come down. Drove home in the snow before it let up near New London. Fingers crossed for some more good snow all over NH.
