Comments | Nice snow showers all day, finally working it’s way into a good snowfall by mid morning. Conditions were great, Flying Yankee and Wild Side had the best run as far as longest runs go. Holderness was doing race training, closing Upper Crewcut, Newfound and the upper part of the main slope below. That was disappointing to find, the snow report didn’t mention anything and listed all trails open. They packed it up around 11:30 thankfully, and everyone was skiing that run before the snow patrol could finish reeling the rope in. The kids were very nice in the lodge as they were changing and getting ready to leave, really polite.
Called it for lunch so our friend could get to her afternoon appointment in good time. Pub upstairs has super good pizza and was jamming by 12:30. Bartender Pete was killing it in his one man show, everyone was happy. Thanks Peter! |
