Comments | Lots of snow lost since I last visited two weeks ago. Lots of dirty snow and bare spots were found. Most of the snow had set up overnight and firm conditions were found on most trails. Exceptions were Loon Mountain Park trail, and South Peak. These trails recently opened and had deep coverage of soft new snow. Loon Mountain Park trail just opened and was groomed out as just a trail, no park features were set up yet. We lapped it a few times from the new Seven Brothers lift. South Peak was the best, with the deepest and softest snow. Very low turnout today. No lift lines except for a few minutes at the gondola. All the main lifts were operating at opening bell, but the East Basin Double closed around 10 due to low usage. |
