Comments | No rain in Henniker! Great snow conditions. I was there in time to ride the first chair up. Lifties had a tough job this morning clearing the snow off the chairs. A good 8 to 10 inches of snow fell on the mountain. I enjoyed skiing the wet loose powder on the edge of Cyclone the first three runs before it got tracked out and then it still was fun bashing the piles of snow. Oh the snow conditions so soft and nice. There was a lift line right from the start and it took a couple runs for the people to spread out. The Hurricane Triple opened soon but was a little delayed because of the effort required to clear the snow off the chairs. Trails all groomed. Many excited people out for their first time this season by the time. I left mid morning and the cars were still rolling in... Happy ski season. |
