Comments | I skied from opening bell to just after 10 am. First half an hour I felt like I was the only one on the trail. They gave a good dusting of new snow on Cyclone during the night and it was more like packed powder for the first three runs than loose granular, good job Pats Peak! They were making snow on the summit, Twister and more. And 4 groomers were pushing out the snow and I knew they'd be opening Duster ASAP, I heard they opened Duster and the rest of Sqaull line at 11:30! So now 29 percent of the trails are open. A couple more cold nights and the trail counts are going to jump fast. Ski Club and ski instructors out in force. People taking lessons in the learning areas on the carpets. More people were skiing the Valley than the main mountain the early hours. When I left cars were heading into the parking lot. Really a fun morning. |
