Comments | Pats Peak's lifts opened at 8:30 today, it was only misty raining lightly for the next half hour. By 9 it was really raining. I wore plastic bags over my mittens and that worked well to keep my hands totally dry. Rain gear worked well too. I did 8 runs straight and then went home. Snow was loose granular to softer loose and firm snow. Lots of ski instructors and ski club kids and their coaches out today. More people out than I thought might dare, no lift line and trail never felt crowded. I will continue to snow dance to do my part to tell Mother Nature we need some cold weather and a big snowstorm. |
