Comments | World Cup was closed for snowmaking. Nor'easter, especially upper half was a sheet of ice, lower half not bad. Jolly Green Giant was the best on the main face. Upper Arrow left side was a sheet of ice, right side not to bad. Sapphire upper and lower weren't too bad. Plunge at Solitude was one of the better trails along with Heaven's Gate and Screaming Demon and rte 103. They were blowing snow on trails at Solitude and main face all day so they appear to be serious about getting more terrain open even though they currently have the most open in VT. There was no one there again. By 1PM I think we may have been the only two on the mountain. We didn't see anyone for half and hour. Amazing!! And I not complaining, just wish they save the solitude for a day after a nice dump. I know, keep dreaming. Few photos from today in link below. |
