Comments | Hey kids the 2022-23 Ski Season is here and today felt more like mid January than weekend before Thanksgiving. $99 for a day before online ticket to ski on 4 advertised trails? Sure why not! What else to do on a Sunday?? Great Northern from Gondola, Rime, Reason and even High Traverse and Upper east Fall to take you back to base of North Ridge Quad. Natural snow sure helped the season opening and it even snowed a decent clip that afternoon. Frozen loose granular since most of it is man made although there were a few spots you could argue to be classified as packed powder. Not too bad as far as skied off ice was concerned. Rumor has it they're top to bottom tomorrow (Monday 11/21) not sure which trail/trails down. Superstar Quad was spinning as I was leaving at 3:30 and groomers out there too, getting ready for the World Cup no doubt. New K-1 lodge façade complete and signage up, just not open yet. |
