Comments | Closing day!!!! Trails started out a little loud and crispy, and softened up quick. Most of the open terrain was well groomed, making the first few runs great. Barker lodge and lift were only complexes open, although terrain rolled over to lower Risky Business and back to Barker. All ungroomed snow was a blast by lunchtime. T2 softened up for a much better run in the afternoon. We hiked up toward the Locke Triple chairlift to ski the tippy top of Sunday Punch. Cascades was a lot of fun when it softened up too!! T-Bar line was as good as it was Monday. Top third was firm mid morning, the lower two thirds were great. By the afternoon it was even better. Southpaw was roped but fun soft bumps. We walked the lift line when we ran out of snow. On one of the next lift rides up, someone grass skied their way back to Sunday Punch! Locke Triple ran in the afternoon for ski patrollers to bring the pads down. Deck was full when we decided to call it quits. |
