Food and Beverage | Barker Lodge cafeteria was open. Passholders get a 20% discount here. They don’t have a pass holder discount on food at Loon. But I think they will have it starting next year. |

Comments | Loon is closed now, so I had to drive the extra distance (1 hour more) to Sunday River to get my ski fix! Next to the last day of the season at Sunday River. Tomorrow is their last day, and free skiing is available. Skied the 9-3:30 shift. Only the Barker quad ran today. Most of the main trails off this lift are still open and have plenty of snow, except for the bottom section of Monday Mourning. Hiked up Sunday Punch from Jungle Road to reach the Locke summit and see the Big Vista! Nice view of snow capped Mt Washington! And Shawnee. It was a nice sunny and mild day of spring skiing! Many more trails were open today than on closing weekend last year. |
