Comments | Tickets were $44 bucks, I had burned all my IKON passes so I had to buy a lift ticket on-line. We skied from opeing to 1:45! Very few people on the mountain today maybe 40 or 50 cars in the parking lot. Two lifts today, the Gondola & North Peak Quad--7 brothers didn't spin. (Kanc8 and South Peak are closed). Lifts opened at 9 am. Snow was more corn like in the morning turning into wetter snow around 11 o'clock but not too bad except in the lift line areas. We skied in the cloud on the summit of North Peak with the foggy weather going up and down the mountain with some lifting after noon. Snow conditions were very good and I was impressed how much and how well they groomed so many trails. We skied everything that was open and did a few extra laps on Walking Boss & Flume! Again it was fun to have a ski area almost all to ourselves. A few times we ran into small groups of friends skiing together. I love Spring Skiing! Closing Day is this Sunday the 17th and I think the snow conditions will hold up for the weekend. Thanks Loon for a great season and being the only ski resort open in NH this week. |
