Comments | Beat the rain! And hardly ever ran into any other people! Plenty of terrain open considering the rains. Green Peak was firrrrrm, while the main peak was soft and buttery in places. We got on just after the bell rang, and watched a snow cat come down White Caps finishing his rounds. Clouds settled down about 3200’ mid morning, and eventually while riding the High Country we managed to get sunshine right around 3900’. By lunchtime Green Peak had softened up nicely. Clean Shaven was prime per usual, and Phosi’s Pholly was great too, including the natural stuff left over. Threw a few rocks off the trails as we came across them, no problem. We skied until 3:15, and then ventured into the bar. Quiet there too! Had a beer and headed home. |
