Food and Beverage Food and Beverage I went inside the summit lodge to use the bathroom and I noticed the pub was quite full, maybe more people inside drinking and eating than were out skiing!
Comments Comments I arrived in the parking lot just before noon and parked in the 2nd row of the main lot, not many folks! I booted up in my car, it was nice and felt warm out, sun peaking out too. I alternated between the Gondola and the Bethlehem Express quad chair, learning center chair was running too--3 lifts running today. Conditions were grand, I arrived it was corn like fast and drier than I expected making me wish I had showed up earlier. As the hours snow warmed up with a mixture of spring snow and wet corn. No lift lines, people in every gondola very few riding the chairlift. Possible to traverse all the way to West Mountain and the adventurous can do a little climbing to reach trails not open. I loved flying over the big rollers on Bretton Woods where the terrain park used to be. Ran into some Bwoods regulars and happy to join them for a few runs. I skied just over 2 hours. Sun turned to mostly cloudy but still a big vista of Mount Washington filling our eyes. Closing date is set for April 10th, opening now at 9 am and lift tickets are at the spring rate starting tomorrow at $59. Good fun.
