Comments | Closing day at Ragged, but enough snow that they could keep going if they wanted. Best snow was probably on Spear Peak. All three trails were open with only a few thin spots. Barnyard area was also in decent shape, though starting to narrow a bit at the bottom. Main mountain had Birches, Exhibition, the various trails dropping into Main Street, Wild Ride, and Lower Ridge. Headwall, Pines, and Lower Crewcut were closed. A few rocks on Blueberry Patch. Cloudy morning, but views all the way up to Mt. Washington with filtered sun. Snow was initially froze-eroy, but softened as the morning progressed. Light crowds. | |
