Comments | Free skiing for the last two days of the season! Today started out fast and firm, but the sun came out, and things softened up by 11:00. Androscoggin, Kennebec, Sunday, and Ellis are still open. There are many thin spots on upper and middle Androscoggin, as well as in the novice area, but cover on lower Androscoggin, Kennebec, and Sunday is still good. For some reason Upper Rapid had a rope across it, even though it was groomed and had pretty good cover. I also skied Lower Rapid, Saint John, and Lower Allagash which weren't all that bad, even if there were spots of ice and dirt to navigate. Jeremy Clark was there, so I was able to ski with him in the morning. Tomorrow looks like another day of great weather to end the season! |
