Run of the Day Run of the DayEvery trail on Bear Peak the first hour --just perfect packed powder. Oh and got to ski Highline too
Food and Beverage Food and BeverageSplurged on lunch at the Peak Lodge, no issue finding a table at 1:15. Spent $44 dollars for two meals and bottles of water. Deli sandwich was way to go, hot Pastrami with sides of fruit and clowslaw.
Comments Comments I parked at Bear Peak and at a few mintues before 9 am I was still in first row of cars. Oh boy the skiing was amazing and the day was sunny, cold and windy to start. PACKED Powder, oh my gosh so awesome I did 5 laps here before going down SuperStar in cold new snow under the blasting millions of guns, no bumps ha ha. Met Kliffy at Snowshed around 10:15, rode the bubble chair, skied the summit, more bear and over to needles...We really tried to get everywhere today. So much fun, not too busy, maybe waited a few people at each lift but no lines. Views to all the big peaks! Snow conditions were fantastic and it was astounding to see how much snow they were blowing on SuperStar and a few other places on the mountain. Can't wait to go back next week. Oh and K1 Lodge is coming down fast, excavator wrecking it and putting in piles for 10 wheelers to haul away.
